Mayoral Paris presents « Ruinophilie », a compelling exhibition featuring the work of artist José Carlos Martinat (b. 1974, Lima, Peru). This Parisian showcase follows the previous group exhibition “Rastrear el Olvido” held at the Barcelona gallery, where Martinat appeared with his piece “Fuerza Popular” alongside works by Sandra Gamarra and Francisco Taka Fernández. Here, he presents a powerful composition comprised of three distinct wall extractions. It exemplifies Martinat’s signature multidisciplinary practice, which transcends the boundaries of traditional media.
